This month, we welcome Thalia Roy, a Law Student and Style Enthusiast based in London, United Kingdom.
1. What’s your go-to outfit on a busy day?
My busy days usually involve studying, reading and lots of travel as I study Law and commute into my lectures. So, a basic but chic fit is always perfect to keep me motivated and comfortable whilst feeling my best. Remember, basic doesn’t have to be boring!! I like to wear my S&S Capsule Pants as they have the most perfect and flattering fit. I like to pair these with a mohair sweater to add some texture (but to keep cosy) and my favourite leather jacket from Goldsmiths Vintage in Soho. An outfit isn’t complete without accessories so I love adding a jersey headband to keep my hair back but still have it looking nice down, gloves (lace, leather, or wooden) and my favourite Jimmy Fairly glasses. Shoes are the game changer here, you can wear this outfit with heels, trainers, boots, flats and more - but if I were to choose between two, I would pick either my Maison Margiela tabi boots (they add height and are still comfortable) otherwise I like to stick with a flat shoe like the Puma Speedcats as I love how the logo peeks out at the toe. Lastly, for bags, I will always be loyal to my Dior Gaucho Saddle Bag.
2. If you could swap wardrobes with any celebrity, who would it be?

3. Do you have a favourite hidden gem in your city?
I really love Matcha! There is an amazing matcha cafe in Holborn called ‘Sontag’ and I will never fail to grab their sea-salt matcha on my way to class.
4. Which beauty product do you splurge on the most?
My lip liner combo because I always lose it! (Refy Lip Sculpt and Blur)
5. Which S&S piece do you think works for every occasion?
I’ve already talked about the Capsule Pants which are incredibly versatile so I will say the Scrunched Shirt! For a coffee in the morning, I pair this with a skirt, tights, leg warmers, big boots, and a big jacket. For class, I slip on a tie, skirt and blazer with my little heels and oversized bag. For the evening, I love wearing it as a dress with mini shorts and my favourite lace tights. It’s such a statement piece but also can be worn super casually.
6. If you could collaborate with S&S, what clothing item would you want to work on?
Definitely an accessory moment whether it be a “scrunched” glove, “scrunched” scarf or “scrunched” leg warmers!
